Whoever said Beijing was boring was wrong. We are just off to meet the guide for the trip to the Great Wall, but did want you to know the train trip was terrific! Much more later. as ever Katie

WOW! Great pics from Shanghai. Haven't caught up with the blog in a week or so. Very interesting to hear about the trip to the factory. And of course, the transition of Shanghai through the eyes of a long time resident is a real eye opener. I am very impressed at the quality of the blog - editorially and the pix. We are in Singapore for a few days, celbrating our ten year anniversary together, opening an HSBC bank account and picking up some elctronics. We have just purchased a digital camera - so we to can start posting pictures. Really enjoy reading about your trip1 Talk soon, love Norm.
